The editors of New York Magazine have created a directory of more than 100 Black-owned businesses you can support in seven different categories: beauty brands, bookstores, clothing and accessories, food and drink, fitness, home décor, and gift shops and beyond.
In February 2021, a Website Planet blogger compiled a list of Black-owned businesses across the country sorted by category for ease of use. Blogger Sophia Conti says: "Once you start paying attention to who owns the businesses you shop at and where your money is going, you’ll be surprised at how your mindset starts to shift.
